Breakfast Berry Smoothie for Glowing Skin

It's starting to feel like Summer :) Which means... smoothies!!! And there is nothing better than a berry smoothie packed with antioxdants for glowing skin & maca to help balance your hormones and kick start your day.

 

 

Recipe:

1/2 frozen banana 

1 Tbs Ground Flaxseeds (Grind flaxseeds just prior to adding to smoothie as ground flaxseeds can go rancid when exposed to oxygen for a long period of time)

1/2 cup fresh or frozen assorted berries 

300ml spring water or plant-based milk

1 tsp collagen powder (optional)

1 Tbs Maca powder (optional)

A Tbs of granola for topping

 

Method:

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth & creamy. If mixture too thick add some more water/plant-based milk & if not thick enough for your liking then add more frozen banana
